New month, new appointments, mergers and product launches. March is the start of a new adventure for these B2B folks.

Compliance with AODA and ADA accessibility requirements is on everyone’s mind these days. AudioEye is one of the tools available that automatically scans new web site content for accessibility issues and fixes common problems using AI-based algorithms. Today, Zach Okun starts as the company’s new Chief Product Officer. Okun leaves Facebook to take the new position.

“AudioEye is uniquely positioned to help customers do something that every digital business needs and wants to do — provide equal access to the Internet,” Okun said. “I’m thrilled to join the Company at this pivotal time, to make it easy and affordable for all businesses to make themselves digitally accessible.”

It’s the same job, different company for employees of TeK Hut, a tech provider for education and government services. In fact, two different companies. The company’s internet and WAN business services have been acquired by Fatbeam while its managed services, network integration and device practice have been acquired by Ednetics.

The split acquisition is unique among mergers and acquisitions in EdTech. The rapid consolidation of services has been a feature of the EdTech landscape since the onset of the pandemic has place strain on existing education tech infrastructure.

Is there a cure for virtual event fatigue?

Splash, newly-launched event marketing platform designed to build and host virtual, in-person, and hybrid events, believes so.

“Event marketers are trying everything they can to create virtual experiences that emulate the best parts of in-person events and human connection, but they’re challenged by online fatigue,” said Eric Holmen, CRO of Splash. “Successful virtual events are immersive, interactive, and memorable. We built the Splash virtual platform with that top-of-mind, and that’s why our customers are creating virtual experiences that work.”

Splash’s Virtual Event Page integrates companies existing MarTech solutions to bring all their event management processes onto one page.
