All major retailers with brick-and-mortar locations made the call to stay closed on Thanksgiving Day. That’s a big change from pre-pandemic years, when many stayed open on the federal holiday so that eager shoppers could start perusing their best deals early.

In-person shopping is making a comeback for Black Friday in 2021, but be mindful of COVID-related safety procedures and limited store capacities.
